  2. If time is an important factor and you can’t afford the time away from your desk to travel to and from Manchester, you can attend online.  All the presentations and two of the workshops in OCTIA 2010  will be streamed live on the internet using the technical expertise of John Wilson and his team at onlinevents. No matter where you are in the world, as long as you have good access to the internet and a good broadband speed, you will be able to attend and join in the live conference. Online delegates can put questions live to the speakers via the private conference chatscreen (see picture).  If a different time zone prevents you joining the whole conference live, a free recording will be available to watch for up to 30 days after the event.  CPD certificates will be available after the event.

  2. If you want to have a full choice of workshops; make new contacts through networking; look at the latest books and meet the authors; discuss computer hardware; try out new software for online counsellors; and generally chat over coffee breaks and lunch, then come and join us in Manchester.   You can enjoy the comfort of a well-appointed hotel and conference centre with wifi internet connection (if you need to go online during the day) set in 5 acres of landscaped gardens.   Become part of a group of like-minded professionals, all of whom are enthusiastic about working online, with varying levels of experience.  If your online service is still at the planning stage (whether sole practitioner or agency service), why not use this conference to make contacts and find out how other people work?   Everyone, including the presenters and the OCTIA 2010 team will be delighted to discuss online counselling with you informally in the breaks or over lunch or dinner on the Friday, whatever your level of expertise.  Delegates who are not staying at Chancellors Hotel are very welcome to join us for dinner on the Friday evening after the conference (£20) Conference dinner Friday 19th March.doc  Certificates for CPD hours will be available at the end of each day.
